According to the message of the Minister of Health of Ukraine<\/a> Maxim Stepanov, in Ukraine, there were already 1.769 million cases of coronavirus COVID-19, the daily increase for April 5 – 13.2 thousand, an increase over the previous day. The high rate of fatalities per day \u2013 430.<\/p>\n

“13,276 new cases of coronavirus COVID-19<\/a> have been recorded in Ukraine as of April 6, 2021,” Stepanov said.<\/p>\n

Also for the past day<\/strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n

hospitalized – 2,545 people;<\/p>\n

fatalities – 430;<\/p>\n

recovered – 10,240 people;<\/p>\n

tested per day – 91,978 (including PCR – 41,512, ELISA – 21,279, rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 29,187).<\/p>\n

During the whole pandemic in Ukraine<\/strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n

fell ill – 1,769,164 people;<\/p>\n

recovered – 1,362,379 people;<\/p>\n

fatalities – 35,017;<\/p>\n

PCR tests were performed – 8,397,586.<\/p>\n

In particular, 508 children and 338 health workers fell ill last day.<\/p>\n

Over the past 24hrs, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Odesa (1,436), Kyiv (1,432), Lviv (1,105), Kyiv (889), and Kharkiv (878) oblasts.<\/p>\n

Over the past 24hrs, 12,856 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19 in Ukraine. Vaccination was carried out by 132 mobile immunization teams and 619 vaccination points. 304,680 people have been vaccinated since the beginning of the vaccination campaign, 304,678 of them received 1 dose, 2 people completed the vaccination (received 2 doses). As of April 5, 2021, 413,561 people had signed up for the COVID-19 vaccination waiting list.<\/p>\n

Transcarpathian – 389 cases \/ 240 vaccinations;<\/p>\n

Zaporozhye region – 611 cases \/ 710 vaccinations;<\/p>\n

Ivano-Frankivsk region – 85 cases \/ 667 vaccinations;<\/p>\n

Kyiv region – 889 cases \/ 0 vaccinations;<\/p>\n

Chernihiv region – 51 cases \/ 100 vaccinations.<\/p>\n

Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk oblasts, and the city of Sevastopol are missing.<\/p>\n

According to Worldometer, a resource that monitors the situation with the coronavirus in the world, Ukraine ranks 16th in distribution and 18th in the number of deaths from COVID-19.<\/p>\n
