The Minister of Health of Ukraine Maxim Stepanov<\/a> announced that in Ukraine, there have already been 1.784 million cases with fatalities of coronavirus COVID-19, the daily increase for April 6 – 15.4 thousand, an increase over the previous day. The high rate of hospitalizations per day is almost 5.6 thousand. Anti-record for fatalities per day \u2013 481.<\/p>\n

Over the past 24hrs, coronavirus was detected in 15,415 people in Ukraine, 481 fatalities were recorded, 11,472 patients recovered, and 5,587 people were hospitalized.<\/p>\n

Among the patients<\/a> are 636 children and 437 nurses.<\/p>\n

A record number of coronavirus patients died in Ukraine in a day. The previous highest value was set on April 2, when 433 deaths were recorded. The daily incidence rate remains high.<\/p>\n

Most new cases were confirmed in Kyiv (1417), Odesa (1236), Kyiv (1092), Lviv (1085), and Kharkiv (1017) oblasts.<\/p>\n

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 1,784,579 people have fallen ill in the country, 1,373,851 have recovered, and 35,498 fatalities. 375,230 remain active patients.<\/p>\n

Coronavirus<\/a> test in Ukraine<\/p>\n

The day before, the laboratories performed 140,224 tests for coronavirus: by PCR – 59,049, by ELISA – 23,778. They also performed 57,397 rapid tests for virus antigen.<\/p>\n

Over 8.4 million PCR tests have been conducted in Ukraine so far.<\/p>\n

Vinnytsia region – 562 cases \/ 610 vaccinations;<\/p>\n

Volyn region – 390 cases \/ 510 vaccinations;<\/p>\n

Dnipropetrovsk region – 671 cases \/ 1,170 vaccinations;<\/p>\n

Donetsk region – 650 cases \/ 540 vaccinations;<\/p>\n

Zhytomyr region – 465 cases \/ 630 vaccinations;<\/p>\n

Transcarpathian – 331 cases \/ 420 vaccinations;<\/p>\n

Zaporozhye region – 733 cases \/ 870 vaccinations;<\/p>\n

Ivano-Frankivsk region – 195 cases \/ 627 vaccinations;<\/p>\n

Kyiv region – 1,092 cases \/ 0 vaccinations;<\/p>\n

Kirovohrad region – 105 cases \/ 610 vaccinations;<\/p>\n

Luhansk region – 254 cases \/ 430 vaccinations;<\/p>\n

Lviv region – 1,085 cases \/ 1,349 vaccinations;<\/p>\n

Mykolaiv region – 412 cases \/ 680 vaccinations;<\/p>\n

Odessa region – 1,236 cases \/ 580 vaccinations;<\/p>\n

Poltava region – 482 cases \/ 830 vaccinations;<\/p>\n

Rivne region – 666 cases \/ 580 vaccinations;<\/p>\n

Sumy region – 586 cases \/ 270 vaccinations;<\/p>\n

Ternopil region – 569 cases \/ 620 vaccinations;<\/p>\n

Kharkiv region – 1,017 cases \/ 560 vaccinations;<\/p>\n

Kherson region – 294 cases \/ 40 vaccinations;<\/p>\n

Khmelnytsky region – 912 cases \/ 990 vaccinations;<\/p>\n

Cherkasy region – 745 cases \/ 300 vaccinations;<\/p>\n

Chernivtsi region – 351 cases \/ 400 vaccinations;<\/p>\n

Chernihiv region – 195 cases \/ 150 vaccinations.<\/p>\n

Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk oblasts, and the city of Sevastopol are missing.<\/p>\n

According to Worldometer, a resource that monitors the situation with the coronavirus in the world, Ukraine ranks 16th in distribution and 18th in the number of deaths from COVID-19.<\/p>\n
