But I want to remind you that cutlets can be not only meat but also vegetables. For example, lentil cutlets with peas will be a great <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ukrgate.com\/eng\/articles\/todays-recipe-reed-pancakes-ukrgate\/\">substitute<\/a> for the meat option, for those who do not eat meat or fast. But for some reason I&#8217;m sure that meat lovers will not give up such a divinely delicious dish.<\/p>\n<p>Kiev. Ukraine. Ukraine Gate &#8211; April 07, 2021 \u2013 Kitchen<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Preparation time &#8211; 20 minutes<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Cooking time &#8211; 15 minutes<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>lentils (green) &#8211; 150 g<\/p>\n<p>green peas (frozen) &#8211; 150 g<\/p>\n<p>potatoes (boiled without skin) &#8211; 300 g<\/p>\n<p>onion &#8211; 1 pc.<\/p>\n<p>carrots &#8211; 1 pc.<\/p>\n<p>cumin (ground) &#8211; 1 pinch<\/p>\n<p>sunflower oil &#8211; 1 tbsp. l.<\/p>\n<p>breadcrumbs &#8211; 4 tbsp. l.<\/p>\n<p>salt and pepper &#8211; to taste<\/p>\n<p>For the sauce:<\/p>\n<p>yogurt (natural) &#8211; 150 g<\/p>\n<p>olive oil &#8211; 1 tbsp. l.<\/p>\n<p>garlic &#8211; 1 clove<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Preparation:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Boil lentils until cooked in salted water for 15-20 minutes. Boil peas in boiling water for 10 minutes. Peas and boiled potatoes mash with a potato press.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>Peel the onion and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ukrgate.com\/eng\/kitchen\/delicious-beans-with-vegetables\/\">chop<\/a> finely, grate the carrots on a large grater. Fry the vegetables in a pan with oil until the onions are transparent. Add boiled lentils and stew for 2-3 minutes. Transfer the roast to a saucepan and grind with an immersion blender to a puree.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li>Mix in a bowl pea-potato puree with vegetable roast, add ground cumin, salt and pepper to taste. Form small cutlets from the mass, roll them in breadcrumbs and fry in a pan with sunflower oil until golden brown.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li>Prepare the sauce: mix yogurt, olive oil and chopped <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ukrgate.com\/eng\/agriculture\/the-first-garlic-processing-plant-in-ukraine-started-operating\/\">garlic<\/a> clove. Serve the cutlets with the sauce.
