Ukraine Gate &#8211; April 22, 2021 \u2013 Technology<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Unprecedented oxygen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ukrgate.com\/eng\/agriculture\/the-growth-of-crop-production-in-2021-in-ukraine\/\">production<\/a>, literally from the air on Mars, was achieved in an experimental device aboard Perseverance, a six-wheeled science rover that landed on the Red Planet on February 18 after a seven-month journey from Earth.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>During the first activation of the device, the size of a toaster called MOXIE, it produced about 5 grams of oxygen, which is equivalent to about 10 minutes of breathing for an astronaut.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Despite the fact that the initial result was insignificant, the feat marked the first experimental extraction of natural resources from another planet for direct human use.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>On February 18, the Perseverance spacecraft landed near the Jezero crater on Mars. The Mars 2020 rover mission itself launched from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ukrgate.com\/eng\/international-news\/earthquake-shakes-indonesia\/\">Earth<\/a> last July.
