Ukraine. Ukraine Gate &#8211; May 6, 2021 \u2013 Education<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thus, 499 Ukrainian institutions of state or communal ownership applied to the State Scientific and Technical Library for connection to international databases at the expense of the state budget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">490 institutions have expressed a desire to access the Web of Science <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ukrgate.com\/eng\/?p=12062\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"12062\">platform<\/a>. 492 institutions also applied for access to e-books on the ScienceDirect platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The largest number of applications for access was submitted by the institutions of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine &#8211; 160 and 129, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The State Scientific and Technical Library reminded that applications for opening remote access to ScienceDirect using the institution&#8217;s domain name are still being accepted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Read also: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ukrgate.com\/eng\/?p=9727\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"9727\">New Applications for Air Routes To UIA, SkyUp, and Bees Airline<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Source: Ukrgate<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Almost 500 Ukrainian higher education and research institutions have gained access to Elsevier and Clarivate Analytics resources from the state budget.
