Ukraine Gate &#8211; May 11, 2021 \u2013 Education<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The bill was introduced by a group of parliamentarians led by MP Inna Sovsun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the authors of the document, in general, about a third of all dissertations defended in Ukraine contain plagiarism. More than 60,000 scientific papers did not have to be defended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, writing academic works to order is a particularly acute problem in the field of academic integrity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;By entering the words &#8216;writing dissertations \/ course \/ doctoral&#8217; in a search query, you can immediately find hundreds of thousands of web pages with offers to buy any academic work &#8211; from an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ukrgate.com\/eng\/?p=8207\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"8207\">abstract <\/a>to a doctoral dissertation,&#8221; the authors of the bill emphasize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The draft law provides for amendments to the Law of Ukraine &#8220;On Education&#8221;.
