In Ukraine, 2.204 million cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 have already been recorded, an increase over the day, May 31 – more than 2 thousand, twice as much as the day before. At the same time, 163 people died in a day. This was reported by the Ministry <\/a>of Health of Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Ukraine, 2137 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were detected per day. In particular, 91 children and 56 health workers fell ill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, tests were performed per day – 51,964 (including PCR – 26,468, ELISA – 11,271); studies by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 14 225.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the whole pandemic in Ukraine<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

 fell ill – 2,204,631 people;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 recovered – 2,053,167 people;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 fatalities – 50,699;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 PCR tests were performed – 10,207,245.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kyiv (434), Zaporizhia (176), Kyiv (138), Dnipropetrovsk (137), and Rivne (117) oblasts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Worldometer, a resource that monitors the situation with the coronavirus in the world, Ukraine ranks 16th in distribution and 18th in the number of deaths from COVID-19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
