Ukraine Gate &#8211; June 06, 2021 \u2013 International News<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;The missile fired by the Housites hit a gas station in the northeastern province of Marib, resulting in powerful explosions,&#8221; said an unnamed source in the local government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He said at least 16 people were killed and several others were injured in explosions at a gas station in the Al-Rawda area north of Marib.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Many civilian cars at the gas station completely burned down as a result of the fire that broke out after the explosions,&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Iran-backed Houthi rebels launched a major <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ukrgate.com\/eng\/?p=12296\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"12296\">offensive <\/a>in February against the Saudi-backed Yemeni government army to seize Marib province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Recent UN-mediated talks between the warring parties in Yemen and other relevant factions have not led to a ceasefire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yemen has been embroiled in civil war since late 2014, when Houthi rebels seized control of several provinces in the north and forced the internationally recognized government of President Abd-Rabbi Mansour Hadi to leave the capital, Sanaa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Read also: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ukrgate.com\/eng\/?p=8787\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"8787\">Hussites Attacked Oil Facilities in Saudi Arabia<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Source: Ukrgate<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At least 16 people have been killed today in a rocket fired by Hussite rebels over the oil-rich Yemeni province of Marib.
