In Ukraine, 2.216 million cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 have already been recorded, an increase over the day, June 7, – 1.6 thousand, three times more than the day before. This was reported by the Ministry <\/a>of Health of Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Ukraine for the past 24hrs, on June 7, 1,602 new cases of COVID-19 were detected. Among them are 95 children and 94 medical workers. Also, 6,751 patients recovered and 118 died from complications, which is more than three times more than the day before when 33 deaths were registered <\/a>in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the  Ministry of Health, 483 people were hospitalized with a suspected or confirmed diagnosis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The number of those who recovered in a day far exceeds the number of patients. This trend is observed for almost two months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most new cases were found in Kyiv (700), Zaporizhia (92), Kyiv (79), Donetsk (73), and Kharkiv (66) oblasts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have recorded 2,216,654 cases of coronavirus infection. Of these, 51,333 died from complications of the disease, and 2,101,722 recovered. Today ill: 63 599 – 5 267 people less than last day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Coronavirus test in Ukraine: what is known<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The laboratories performed 57,556 tests <\/a>for coronavirus: by PCR – 33,355, by ELISA – 10,821. They also performed 13,380 rapid tests for the antigen to the virus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In total, more than 10.3 million PCR tests were conducted in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Worldometer, a resource that monitors the situation with the coronavirus in the world, Ukraine ranks 16th in distribution and 18th in the number of deaths from COVID-19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
