In Ukraine, 2.218 million cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 have already been recorded, an increase over the day on June 8 – almost 1.4 thousand, which is less than the day before. 756 people were hospitalized per day, which is more than the day before. This was reported by the Ministry <\/a>of Health of Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the past 24hrs, 1,385 new cases of COVID-19 have been detected in Ukraine, including 57 children and 74 health workers. Also, 6,962 patients recovered and 77 died from complications. 756 people were hospitalized with a suspected or confirmed diagnosis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most new cases were found in Kyiv (262), Kyiv <\/a>(142), Kharkiv (87), Dnipropetrovsk (75), and Rivne (75) oblasts.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have recorded 2,218,039 cases of coronavirus infection. Of these, 51,410 people died from complications of the disease, and 2,108,684 – recovered. Today, 57,945 Ukrainians are ill – 5,654 less than last day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the Worldometers website, Ukraine ranks 37th in the world in terms of the number of new cases and 7th in Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Laboratories performed 60,620 tests for coronavirus: by PCR – 25,344, by ELISA – 11,463. Also performed 23,813 rapid tests for the antigen to the virus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In total, more than 10.4 million PCR tests <\/a>were conducted in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
