In the Lviv region, police <\/a>detained a priest from a village who was processing and selling weapons and ammunition. This is not the first time he has been involved in this business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The criminal bought traumatic and gas weapons, turned them into firearms, kept them in the church, and sent them by mail. He advised clients on the Internet. The attacker corresponded openly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the investigation, this is not the first time the priest has been engaged in this type of fishing. The man was serving his sentence twice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Law enforcement officers searched his home and confiscated a pile <\/a>of weapons. The man now faces up to seven years in prison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Several types of firearms, ammunition, and other material evidence that indicate the criminal activity of this person. The detained man of 47 years was further placed, according to Art. 208 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to the pre-trial detention center “, – said the acting Mykhailo Soroka, the head of the GUNP in the Volyn region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will add that since March 18 in Ukraine process of registration, issue of permissions, and re-registration of the allowed types of the weapon resumed. Earlier, the relevant licensing service was disbanded due to the exposure of a corruption scheme. It is still in the process of reorganization but continues to work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
