Ukraine Gate – July 3, 2021 \u2013 Transportation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n This was reported by the press service of the Association of Automobile Manufacturers of Ukraine “Ukravtoprom”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It is noted that in June, in annual terms, sales of new cars increased by 21% – to 8.8 thousand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n “Besides, it is almost 36% more than the June result until 2019,” Ukravtoprom stressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The most popular brand on the market of new cars in June was Toyota<\/a>. In June, 1,296 cars of this Japanese brand joined the Ukrainian fleet. In June 2020, the brand improved its result by almost a quarter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The second most popular brand was Renault with the result of 986 registered cars. In June 2020, the brand deteriorated by 15%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Third place in the ranking of brands in KIA, which improved its last year’s figure by 10% – up to 742 cars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In fourth place, Skoda – 609 new cars of this brand joined the Ukrainian fleet, which is 27% more than a year earlier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Closes the top five Hyundai with a result of 441 cars, which is 11% more than a year earlier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Also in the TOP-10 of the May market included: Nissan<\/a>, Volkswagen, Peugeot, Chery, Mitsubishi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The bestseller of May on the Ukrainian market of new cars was the Toyota RAV-4, which was chosen by 547 buyers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Preliminary indicators<\/p>\n\n\n\n Sales of new cars in Ukraine in 2020 decreased compared to 2019 by 3% – to 85.5 thousand units.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The most popular brand on the market of new cars in 2020 was Renault.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Ukravtoprom Association of Automobile Manufacturers of Ukraine was established in 1997.
