If it weren&#8217;t for our actions, this project would have been completed a long time ago, \u201dPshydach said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;The longer this pipeline is inactive, the better for Central and Eastern Europe and the unity of the EU,&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On July 21, the United States and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ukrgate.com\/eng\/?p=17720\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"17720\">Germany <\/a>reached an agreement on the Nord Stream-2 project. Washington has acknowledged that sanctions will not stop its implementation, and Berlin has pledged to continue the transit of Russian gas through Ukraine. US President Joe Biden has said that Nord Stream 2 is 99% complete and cannot be stopped.
