In Ukraine, a study of the film education system has begun, which aims to establish differences between market needs and the amount of training of specialists in the field of cinema.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ukraine Gate – July 28, 2021 \u2013 Education<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Research to be conducted by the Film Industry Association together with the Center for Social Indicators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The State Agency for Cinema notes that the Ukrainian film industry has a significant shortage <\/a>of professionals, in particular, young professionals who have not only theoretical but also practical knowledge and professional competencies that meet current market needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In addition, the shortage of well-trained professionals, in particular, due to insufficient English proficiency, limits opportunities for international cooperation and hinders the development of the national industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In turn, the shortage of staff leads to an increase in demand for experienced professionals, an increase in the cost of their services<\/a>, and the loss of Ukraine one of the competitive factors, the cost of production – compared to other European countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n During the study, it is planned to conduct a comprehensive survey of representatives of the film industry: employers from various sectors of industry, representatives of higher and professional higher education, graduate students, and professionals who have recently completed their studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The results are scheduled for publication at the end of September 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Those wishing to participate in the survey <\/a>must fill out a questionnaire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n
