It is located in the south of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ukrgate.com\/eng\/?p=17068\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"17068\">France<\/a>, in the port city of La Ciotat, near Marseilles. The first films of the Lumiere brothers were shown here. In July this year, &#8220;Eden&#8221; was officially included in the Guinness Book of Records as the oldest operating cinema in the world. The director of Eden, Marie-Loire Smilovichi, is the great-granddaughter of its historical owners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Kyiv. Ukraine. You may notice a feature of this architectural design. It has not changed since its construction and is more like a theater than movie theaters, which are well known to us today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was in La Ciotat in 1896 that the Lumi\u00e8res made one of their first <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ukrgate.com\/eng\/?p=18170\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"18170\">films<\/a>, The Arrival of the Train at La Ciotat Station.
