The incident occurred on July 6 at 1496 km of the Odessa-Zastava-1 race – Usatove station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n “At about 2 p.m., the driver of the Intercity \u2116761 electric train Kyiv-Odessa applied emergency braking to prevent a collision with stones and tires. Fortunately, thanks to the driver’s prompt action, the collision was avoided,” Ukrzaliznytsia said in a statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The inspection revealed the fact that stones and tires were placed on both rail threads.
