Archaeologists at the Saryarkin Archaeological Institute have found a “tailed” knife and a Tesla with a Bronze Age handle. Such household items were discovered in Kazakhstan for the first time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Objects of the Bronze Age were studied, among which were earthen mounds where burials took place. Women were buried together with jewelry<\/a>: bracelets, necklaces, hryvnias, plaques. And men – with arrowheads and knives. In one of these burials, they found rare tools: a “tailed knife” and a tesla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThe traditional shape of knives is leaf-like. Sharpening is on both sides. They can be classified as daggers. For the first time, we found a knife that belongs to the class of “tailed”. Its tip is not straight but bent like an arc. One part is sharpened, the other is thickened. His purpose is exactly domestic. It is massive and comfortable. It is possible that a knife of this shape is even a kind of borrowing, \u201dsays archaeologist Ihor Kukushkin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cTesla was used to work with wood. With it, they made chariots, kitchen <\/a>utensils. The uniqueness of the found tool is that it has a handle made of a horn.
