Ukraine Gate &#8211; August 04, 2021 \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ukrgate.com\/eng\/?cat=8\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Education<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This opinion was expressed in an interview with &#8220;Word and Deed&#8221; by the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Serhiy Shkarlet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He believes that there are only two scenarios according to which distance <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ukrgate.com\/eng\/?p=5837\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"5837\">learning <\/a>should be returned. Among them, Scarlett named:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">growth of respiratory diseases, which is recorded mostly in the off-season;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">the spread of the Delta coronavirus strain, which is already attacking many countries around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Thus, the probability of returning to distance learning is always there. It all depends on us,&#8221; said Scarlett.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the Minister, if 80% of school staff in Ukraine are vaccinated, schools will be able to continue to operate in person, despite the introduction of &#8220;yellow&#8221;, &#8220;orange&#8221; and &#8220;red&#8221; zones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Regarding the vaccination of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ukrgate.com\/eng\/?p=16863\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"16863\">teachers <\/a>before September 1, he noted that in the Kyiv region, as of today, 90% of teachers have been vaccinated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Among kindergarten teachers and out-of-school education staff &#8211; 31%. But these figures vary depending on the area of \u200b\u200bthe immunization campaign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Preschool education, secondary education &#8211; 31%.
