In Ukraine, there were 2.259 million cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19, an increase over the day, August 8, – 300, which is twice less than the day before, but the traditional decline over the weekend. 400 people were hospitalized per day, a decrease against the figure the day before. This was reported by the Ministry <\/a>of Health of Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“For the day of August 8, 2021, in Ukraine, 300 new confirmed cases of coronavirus COVID-19 were recorded,” the Ministry of Health said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also for the past day:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

400 people were hospitalized;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

fatalities – 5;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

recovered – 281 people;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

tested: by PCR – 9,383 people, by ELISA – 1,424 people, by rapid tests – 5,913 people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the whole pandemic in Ukraine:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

fell ill <\/a>– 2,259,451 people;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

recovered – 2,191,202 people;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

fatalities – 53,100;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PCR tests were performed – 11,537,474.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of the patients for the past day: children – 20, nurses – 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kyiv (51), Odesa (39), Ternopil (32), Vinnytsia (24), and Chernivtsi (21) oblasts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
