The King Abdulaziz & Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) told a US conference about its experience hosting summer enrichment programs amid the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ukraine Gate – August 14, 2021 – Forums and conferences<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The conference of the World Council for Gifted and Talented Children, entitled \u201cDeveloping the future of gifted education\u201d was held virtually, and included representatives from 55 countries around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Dr. Khaled Al-Sharif, Director General of the Mawhiba Center <\/a>for Excellence, reviewed the institution’s experience and talked about its efforts in establishing summer enrichment programs and initiatives to support talented people during the pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He also spoke about Mawhiba’s ability to transform the Covid-19 crisis into an opportunity for success and a means to adapt technology and develop its business, and to launch the Mawhiba project for digital transformation, which aims to become a “leap into the future.” \u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n The enrichment programs organized by Mawhiba and the Saudi Ministry of Education <\/a>each summer aim to meet the future needs of highly qualified Saudis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This comes as part of the Kingdom’s ambition to achieve Vision 2030, develop an interest in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, and develop students’ leadership capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Mawhiba Summer Enrichment Programs is one of 20 initiatives offered to talented students, who must pass several testing stages based on international standards in order to qualify for the institution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n
