Ukraine Gate \u2013 August 28, 2021 \u2013 Diplomatic Affairs<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Al-Jaber, who also oversees the  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ukrgate.com\/eng\/?tag=kingdom-of-saudi-arabia\" data-type=\"post_tag\" data-id=\"5607\">Saudi <\/a>Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen, met with Charg\u00e9 d&#8217;Affairs at the US Embassy in Saudi Arabia, Martina Strong, and Kathy Westley, Charg\u00e9 d&#8217;Affairs at the US Embassy in Yemen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the meeting, they discussed efforts to complete the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement and the Kingdom&#8217;s support for Yemen in various fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The United States praised the continued Saudi <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ukrgate.com\/eng\/?p=11331\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"11331\">economic <\/a>support to Yemen, the latest of which was the granting of oil derivatives, and the joint efforts in humanitarian work in the war-torn country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Al-Jaber then met with the Speaker of the Yemeni Parliament, Sultan al-Barakani, to discuss a nationwide ceasefire, which the Iran-backed Houthi militia continues to reject and insist on a military escalation in Marib and increasing the suffering of Yemenis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Read also: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ukrgate.com\/eng\/?p=14726\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"14726\">Morocco Continues Its Escalation Against Spain<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Source: Ukrgate<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Thursday, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Yemen, Muhammad Al-Jaber, held talks with US officials on the developments in the situation in Yemen and efforts to achieve peace.
