Ukraine Gate \u2013 September 08, 2021 \u2013 Diplomatic Affairs<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Asked if he was worried that China would fund a group sanctioned under US law, Biden told reporters: &#8220;China has a real problem with the Taliban. They are all trying to figure out what they are doing now. &#8220;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The United States and its group of seven allies have agreed to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ukrgate.com\/eng\/?p=20352\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"20352\">coordinate <\/a>in response to the Taliban, and Washington has blocked Taliban access to Afghanistan&#8217;s reserves, most of which belong to New York&#8217;s Federal Reserve System, to meet its obligations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But experts say much of that economic leverage will be lost if China, Russia, or other countries provide funds to the Taliban.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">China&#8217;s foreign minister has accused the United States of &#8220;hastily&#8221; withdrawing troops from Afghanistan.
