In Ukraine, 2.338 million cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 have already been recorded, an increase over the day, September 16, – 6.6 thousand, which is almost a thousand or 15% more than the day before. More than 1.5 thousand people were hospitalized per day, which is at the level of the previous day. This was reported by the Ministry <\/a>of Health of Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“During the day of September 16, 2021, in Ukraine, 6624 new confirmed cases of coronavirus COVID-19 were recorded,” the Ministry of Health said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also for the past day:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1,568 people were hospitalized;
fatalities – 99;
1,914 people recovered.
tested: by PCR – 35,171 people, by ELISA – 8,230 people, by rapid tests – 31,879 people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the whole pandemic in Ukraine:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

fell ill – 2,338,164 people;
recovered – 2,228,543 people;
fatalities – 54,750;
PCR tests were performed – 12,412,498.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of the patients for the past day: children <\/a>– 677, health workers – 105.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the past 24hrs, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kharkiv (649), Lviv (644), Odesa (530), Dnipropetrovsk (426) oblasts, and the city of Kyiv (426).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Worldometer, a resource that monitors the situation with the coronavirus in the world, Ukraine ranks 18th in distribution and 19th in the number of deaths from COVID-19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
