In Ukraine, 2.355 million cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 have already been recorded, an increase <\/a>over the day, September 20, – 5.1 thousand, more than doubling against the figure the day before. More than a thousand people were hospitalized per day, which is less than the day before. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“For the day of September 20, 2021, in Ukraine, 5,159 new confirmed cases of coronavirus COVID-19 were recorded,” the Ministry of Health said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also for the past day:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

hospitalized – 1,086 people;
fatalities – 137;
2,156 people recovered.
tested: by PCR – 30,563 people, by ELISA – 7,718 people, by rapid tests – 25,692 people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the whole pandemic in Ukraine<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

fell ill – 2,355,805 people;
2,233,573 people recovered;
fatalities – 55,056;
PCR tests were performed – 12,515,008.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of the patients for the past day: children – 463, health workers – 129.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the past 24hrs, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Lviv (518), Kharkiv (486), Dnipropetrovsk (422), Odesa (419) oblasts, and the city of Kyiv (399).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Worldometer, a resource that monitors the situation with the coronavirus in the world, Ukraine ranks 19th in distribution and 19th in the number of deaths from COVID-19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
