Ukrainian drivers will soon face new fines – all because of important innovations that were previously announced by the Interior Ministry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A fine can be obtained for driving a car on the “mechanics” if the driver passes the exam <\/a>on the “machine” at the driving school. The fact is that in three months, future drivers will receive the rights of a special category – those who studied at the “machine” will put in the appropriate column the number 78. It will mean a ban on driving a car with a manual transmission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“When the vehicle is stopped by the patrol police or in the event of an accident, it will be considered that you used the vehicle without a proper driving license. The mark is made depending on which car the person is taking the exam at the service center,” explains the first deputy head. service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Yuriy Smolyaninov.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The innovation is related to the implementation of the European directive – there was a division between “mechanics” and “automatic” back in 2013. Drivers in Ukraine can exchange their rights to a European-style document today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new rules will not apply to those who have received rights for a long time – no marks will be put in their documents. This is due to the fact that they previously passed the exam on “mechanics”, so they have the right to drive a “machine”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the driving instructor advised, it is better to study “mechanics” to become a universal driver – then the road will be calmer, and from now on even more economical. After all, drivers who switch to “mechanics” from a “machine gun” will receive fines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ministry of Internal Affairs talked about a number of innovations for drivers in terms of issuing licenses and taking exams in service centers. In particular, the validity of the result of a successfully passed theoretical exam in the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was extended. It used to be three months, now it is two years. “But no longer than the validity of the certificate of completion of the institution for the training of drivers of vehicles,” – said the Interior Ministry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
