In Ukraine, 2.541 million cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 have already been recorded, an increase over the day, October 9, – more than 11.3 thousand, which is much less than the day before. More than 3.7 thousand people were hospitalized per day, which is more than the previous day. This was reported by the Ministry <\/a>of Health of Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“As of October 9, 2021, 11,344 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 coronavirus disease were recorded in Ukraine (including 1,149 children and 122 health workers),” the statement reads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also for the past 24hrs:
\u25fe 3,712 people were hospitalized;
\u25fe fatalities – 162;
58 2,581 people recovered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the day,
35,671 people were tested by PCR,
5,434 people <\/a>by ELISA, and
26,287 by rapid tests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the whole pandemic in Ukraine:
\u25fe 2,541,257 people fell ill;
2 2,290,427 people recovered;
\u25fe fatalities – 58,493;
\u041f PCR tests were performed – 13,253,584.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kharkiv <\/a>(1783), Odesa (1010), Dnipropetrovsk (838), Zaporizhia (836), and Donetsk (819) oblasts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quarantine to counter the spread of a new type of coronavirus in Ukraine was introduced on March 12, 2020. Then it was repeatedly continued and transferred to the form of adaptive quarantine in the summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
