In Ukraine, 2.635 million cases of coronavirus COVID-19 have already been registered, an increase of 11.3 thousand per day on October 16, which is less than the day before. At the same time, 4.7 thousand people were hospitalized per day, which is much more than the day before. This was reported by the Ministry <\/a>of Health of Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“For the day of October 16, 2021, in Ukraine recorded 11,288 new confirmed cases of coronavirus COVID-19 (including children – 1,086, health workers – 154),” – said in a statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also for the past 24hrs:
\u25fe\ufe0f 4,747 people were hospitalized;
\u25fe\ufe0f fatalities – 219;
3 recovered – 3,541 people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the whole pandemic in Ukraine:
\u25fe\ufe0f 2,635,170 people fell ill;
2 2,325,997 people recovered;
\u25fe\ufe0f fatalities – 60,633;
\u041f PCR tests were performed <\/a>– 13,557,776.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quarantine to counter the spread of a new type of coronavirus in Ukraine was introduced on March 12, 2020. Then it was repeatedly continued and transferred to the form of adaptive quarantine in the summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Within adaptive quarantine, regions are marked with colors – green, yellow, orange, or red – the level of danger of COVID-19 spread, depending on the epidemic situation. Due to the “color” of the region, restrictive measures also differ. Yes, the green level implies minimal restrictions. Yellow level <\/a>– by default operated throughout the country since the introduction of adaptive quarantine. Orange level – set after yellow and indicates a complication of the epidemic situation. Red level – imposes stricter restrictions, as it was during the January “lockdown”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
