{"id":23165,"date":"2021-11-04T13:57:36","date_gmt":"2021-11-04T13:57:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ukrgate.com\/eng\/?p=23165"},"modified":"2021-11-04T13:58:48","modified_gmt":"2021-11-04T13:58:48","slug":"american-pumpkin-pie-a-simple-and-quick-recipe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ukrgate.com\/eng\/?p=23165","title":{"rendered":"American pumpkin pie : a simple and quick recipe"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<pre id=\"tw-target-text\" class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">\nThe main secret of a traditional American pie is that there is very little dough in it, but there is a lot of air filling, about 6 times more than the base.\nUkraine, ukraingate ,4,november ,2021 , kitchen\n\nAnd it can be prepared not only on holidays, but also on any other day at will - the recipe is simple, cooking is short.\n\nIngredients for 8 servings:\n\nFor the test:\n\n\u2022 1 1\/4 cups flour\n\n\u2022 110 g of butter\n\n\u2022 2 tsp. sugar\n\n\u2022 1\/2 tsp. salt\n\n\u2022 6 st. l. ice water\n\nFor the filling:\n\n\u2022 2.5 tbsp. baked nutmeg puree (approximately 750 g raw)\n\n\u2022 300 ml of cream\n\n\u2022 2\/3 cl. sugar\n\n\u2022 2 eggs\n\n\u2022 1 egg yolk<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<pre id=\"tw-target-text\" class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">\u2022 1 tsp. lemon peel\n\n\u2022 1\/2 tsp. ground cinnamon\n\n\u2022 1\/4 tsp. ground ginger\n\n\u2022 1\/8 tsp. ground nutmeg, ground cloves and ground cardamom\n\n\u2022 1\/2 tsp. salt\n\nCut the butter into cubes and put in the freezer for 20-30 minutes. Mix flour with salt and sugar, add frozen butter and mix thoroughly, gradually adding water.\n\nThe dough is ready if it sticks together instead of crumbling when pressed. Download it into a ball, wrap in cling film and put in the cold for an hour.\n\nIn a large bowl, beat eggs and yolk, add sugar, salt, lemon zest and all spices. Add alternately pumpkin puree and sour cream, beating everything well each time.<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<pre id=\"tw-target-text\" class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">\nRoll out the dough into a circle or rectangle that exceeds the size of the form. Lay out the dough in a form, from the excess to form sides 5 cm high.\n\nPour the filling on the dough, cut off the excess dough and put the form in a preheated oven to 220 \u00b0 C for a quarter of an hour. Reduce the temperature to 180 \u00b0 C and bake the cake for another 45-50 minutes.
