“I would very much like these meetings to take place at the level of heads of state,” she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Vereshchuk added that full-fledged meetings in the Normandy format are impossible due to the position of the Russian Federation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“The Russian side refuses to recognize itself as a party to the conflict, refuses to comply with the Minsk agreements, which are signed by the Russian Federation,” she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, Ukraine must do everything in its power to get the Kremlin at the negotiating table, Vereshchuk is convinced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“The task of the Ukrainian side is to do everything in our power to get the Kremlin at the negotiating table,” she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
