The bill has been criticized by both unions, which want even more transparency, and the largest employers’ organization, which says it will cause more conflict in the workplace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In response to criticism, Finnish Equality Minister Thomas Blumquist said the main purpose of the law was to close the unjustified pay gap between workers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
