Work is currently underway to expand the list of countries where Ukrainian citizens can travel with an ID card, as well as the possibility of obtaining this card and a passport at the same time. This was stated by Interior Minister Denis Monastyrsky during the presentation of a 7 million passport of a citizen of Ukraine in the form of an ID card to 14-year-old pupil of the Center for Child Protection “Our Children” Jasmina Kiselevich .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Today, with the ID card of a citizen of Ukraine, it is already possible to enter several countries around the world – in particular, Georgia and Turkey. And we are negotiating to expand the list of these countries, which can be entered by ID-cards, “said the Minister.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Monastyrskyi added that the Ministry of Internal Affairs is also working to be able to simultaneously obtain a passport of a citizen of Ukraine with an ID card and a foreign passport of a citizen of Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“We have many prospects ahead, we are working in this regard with the Migration Service, the Ministry of Digital Transformation, and I see today that our ID-passport is becoming a valuable part of the life of any Ukrainian,” said Monastyrsky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
