In Cyprus, archeologists have discovered many artifacts and human remains in tombs dating back to the reign of Egyptian Queen Nefertiti. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Among the finds – 500 funeral items and jewelry, including a gold pendant in the shape of a lotus flower inlaid with precious stones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The remains of 155 people were also found. One of the skeletons belonged to a 5-year-old child who was buried with many jewels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“We were able to determine that many items belong to the reign of the Egyptian queen Nefertiti and her husband Pharaoh Akhenaten, about 1350 BC,” – say scientists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
