In Ukraine, 3.645 million cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 have been recorded, an increase over the day, December 25, – 2.8 thousand, which is less than the day before. The number of survivors is higher than the number of new patients. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“As of December 25, 2,810 new confirmed cases of coronavirus COVID-19 (including 240 children and 30 health workers) were registered in Ukraine,” the statement said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quarantine to counter the spread of a new type of coronavirus in Ukraine was introduced on March 12, 2020. Then it was repeatedly continued and in the summer transferred to the form of adaptive quarantine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Within adaptive quarantine, regions are marked with colors – green, yellow, orange or red – the level of danger of COVID-19 spread, depending on the epidemic situation. Due to the “color” of the region, restrictive measures also differ. Yes, the green level has minimal restrictions. Yellow level – by default operated throughout the country since the introduction of adaptive quarantine. Orange level – set after yellow and indicates a complication of the epidemic situation. Red level – imposes tighter restrictions, as was the case during the January “lockdown”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On September 13, the government imposed new quarantine rules. They came into force in a week – on September 20. The main feature of the new rules is that vaccinated people with a COVID certificate are asked not to apply certain restrictions, including the “red” zone. There are two types of certificates – “yellow” and “green”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On September 20, the government extended the quarantine until the new year. Ukraine has been in the “yellow” quarantine zone since September 23. Subsequently, 18 oblasts and Kyiv joined the \u201cred\u201d zone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On December 6, new quarantine rules came into force, which provide for tightening restrictions in the “yellow” zones. Thus, attending public events, cinemas, theaters, catering establishments and gyms will be allowed only if 100% of teams and visitors have at least one dose of vaccination, a negative test or a certificate of recovery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Currently, there are 2 regions in the “red” zone – Zaporizhia and Volyn regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
