Until 2024, only natural persons of Ukraine with a limit of 100 hectares can buy agricultural land. The law on the land market prohibits foreigners from buying land.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The issue of selling land to Ukrainian citizens and foreigners will be decided only in a national referendum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to experts, there are 42 million hectares of agricultural land in Ukraine. A moratorium on sales extended to 41 million hectares before the market opened.
