Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky concluded two days of talks with his Polish counterpart, Andrzej Duda, on Friday, and Poland said Kyiv could count on its support in the event of a Russian attack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, Warsaw did not provide precise details on what form this support could take.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Poland rejects the concept of spheres of influence and supports Ukraine’s full Euro-Atlantic integration,” Duda wrote on Twitter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Duda’s foreign affairs adviser, Jakub Kumocz, said a special channel would be set up to continue contacts between Poland and Ukraine, and further talks between the president’s representatives were scheduled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“The Euro-Atlantic community has a duty to counter any aggression, regardless of its size or scale,” Kumoch said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
