According to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, in 2021 Turkey was visited by 30 million 38 thousand 961 people, which is 88.08% more than a year earlier. At the same time, the number of foreign visitors to Turkey increased by 94.06% compared to 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In January-December, the first place in the number of tourists took the Russian Federation (4 million 694 thousand 422 people) with an increase of 120.52% compared to the same period last year, the second place went to Germany (3 million 85 thousand 215 people) with an increase of 175.73%, Ukraine took third place with an increase of 106.49% (2 million 60 thousand 8 people). Ukraine is followed by Bulgaria and Iran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ukraine’s share in the total number of tourists received by Turkey last year was 8.34% against 7.83% a year earlier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Turkey’s tourism revenues in 2021 increased by 103.02% and reached a total of 24 billion 482 million 332 thousand dollars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
