The rapid increase in the incidence of coronavirus in Ukraine has continued since the beginning of January – now the figure is about 13 times higher than normal, most regions have moved to the “orange” zone. This is evidenced by data from the Ministry of Health .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In general, the incidence rate of COVID-19 in Ukraine is 973 per 100,000 population, while the norm for the “green” zone is up to 75 per 100,000 population. All of the above indicates a worsening of the situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Currently, this figure is 12.97 times higher than the established level, although on January 12 the incidence was only twice as high.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In total, the “orange” zone includes 21 regions, including Kyiv, two – Prykarpattia and Rivne – in the “red”, and only two – Kirovograd and Poltava regions – in the “yellow”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On January 20, the Ministry of Health noted a new outbreak with an epicenter in western Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On January 24, the Ivano-Frankivsk region moved to the “red” zone. Rivne region joined it on January 27.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
