According to operative data of the NBU, in January 2022 the volume of household deposits in solvent banks in foreign currency (in dollar terms) decreased by 3.5% to $ 9.28 billion. USA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The volume of business funds in the national currency in solvent banks in January 2022, according to current data, decreased by 6.5% to UAH 520.89 billion. In January, the foreign currency deposit portfolio of solvent banks (in dollar terms) grew by 5.5% to $ 8.19 billion. USA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In general, in January, deposits on residents’ accounts decreased by 1.4% to UAH 1.48 trillion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the same time, interest rates on new hryvnia deposits in January averaged 7.3% per annum for the population (+ 0.1% per month) and 4.9% for businesses (+ 0.2% per month). In January, interest rates on deposits for households were 0.5% (-0.1% per month), for businesses – 1.3% (-0.1% per month).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
