The cause is currently unknown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A spokesman for the Munich Police Department, Andreas Franken, said both trains were on the same route at the same time and collided head-on on the same railway line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the Bild newspaper, there were only 95 people on the two trains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">More than 200 emergency workers arrived on the scene.
