Marianna Pidhurska is a pregnant girl from Mariupol who escaped alive from a maternity hospital shelled by the occupiers.
Her photos have flown around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Journalist Olga Tokaryuk said on Twitter that the girl gave birth to a daughter last night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I was informed by Marianna’s relative that she managed to contact her by phone for a short time. Last night at 22:00 Marianne gave birth to a baby girl! They are fine, but it is very cold in Mariupol and the bombing does not stop, \u201dthe statement reads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I received an update from a relative of Marianna – a pregnant girl from Mariupol’s bombed hospital. They were able to reach her on the phone briefly. Last night at 10pm, Marianna gave birth to a baby girl! They are ok, but it’s very cold in Mariupol and the bombing doesn’t stop .<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was previously known that 17 people were injured in an air strike on the maternity hospital. On March 10, 3 people were reported dead, including one child, a girl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the bombing of the children’s hospital and maternity hospital in Mariupol was a conscious and purposeful decision of the Russian occupiers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
