Ukraine Gate- Kyiv – April 10, 2022- In a video address on the occasion of global action in support of Ukraine, President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador stated that his country does not support Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, which has historically witnessed many attacks on its country, and said, “We do not accept the Russian invasion of Ukraine because we have suffered from invasions.”
The head of state added that Mexico supports a “peaceful solution to the conflict”.
Mexico has also tried to remain neutral in its assessment of the Russian war in Ukraine and has not imposed sanctions on Moscow.
