Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Olga Stefanishina is confident that the situation around the three Ukrainian TV channels will not disrupt Ukraine’s candidacy in the European Union. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“There is no attack on freedom of speech in Ukraine. And the EU knows this. Statements by opposition representatives that the situation around three Ukrainian TV channels will disrupt our candidacy in the European Union are speculative,” Stefanishina said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to her, Ukraine’s membership in the EU is not a means of resolving domestic political discussions, and in her opinion, only our state suffers from “threats by Brussels” from opposition members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
