Thus, military aid to Ukraine currently reaches a total of 2 billion euros, “he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n According to Borrel, these funds will be used, in particular, for heavy weapons, namely tanks, armored vehicles, heavy artillery and ammunition for Ukrainian defenders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Addition<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Earlier, the EU tripled its assistance to Ukraine within the Defense Fund to 1.5 billion euros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The EU has also\u00a0approved<\/a>\u00a0\u20ac 600 million to help Ukraine with its urgent financial needs – a total of \u20ac 1.2 billion in macro-financial assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
