The cost of a New Year&#8217;s table with delicacies will increase to UAH 2,176.09.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;On average in Ukraine, the cost of the New Year&#8217;s table in 2021 for a Ukrainian family of 4 will increase compared to the cost of the New Year&#8217;s table in 2020 by only 5.3% and will amount to 1706.09 UAH,&#8221; the director of the Institute of Agrarian Economics, Academician NAAS of Yuri Lupenko was quoted.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the New Year&#8217;s menu was taken from dishes that are traditional for the table of the average family: salads, meat and fish products, vegetables, fruits, bakery and confectionery, beverages and more.<\/p>\n<p>According to the calculations of scientists from the Institute of Agrarian Economics, 3 kg of salad &#8220;Olivier&#8221; traditional recipe will cost 159.37 UAH. This is 13.8% more than when celebrating the New 2020 year. The most expensive ingredients of the dish are sausage &#8211; 70 UAH per 0.5 kg, 0.5 kg of green peas &#8211; 32.50 UAH, 200 g of pickles &#8211; 16.50 UAH, 6 eggs &#8211; 14.50 UAH and 180 g of mayonnaise &#8211; 12, 50 \u0433\u0440\u043d. Onions, carrots and potatoes will cost another UAH 13.37, the prices of which have decreased (except for carrots) by the end of 2020, compared to 2019 by 23.5% and 30.1%.<\/p>\n<p>At the level of last year, the salad &#8220;Herring under a fur coat&#8221; (1.5 kg) will cost &#8211; UAH 120.37. The lion&#8217;s share of its value will be herring fillets &#8211; 100 UAH per 0.5 kg. Mayonnaise (180 g) will cost UAH 12.50, carrots &#8211; UAH 1.81 (1 piece), beets &#8211; UAH 2.17 (1 piece), onions &#8211; UAH 1.19 (1 piece), potatoes &#8211; UAH 2.70 (2 pcs.).<\/p>\n<p>Expenditures on meat products increased by 10-30%, said Yuriy Lupenko. Pound cuts of smoked sausage &#8220;Salami&#8221; will cost 89.50 USD (+ 11.9% vs. 2019 prices) Podcherevok smoked &#8211; 100 UAH (+ 25%), fresh pork cue &#8211; 110.0 UAH (33.3 %). Poultry meat at the end of 2020 is the cheapest among other types of meat. For 1 kg of fresh chicken fillet will have to pay, on average, 95 UAH. In total, the cost of 2.5 kg of meat products on the New Year&#8217;s table will reach UAH 394.50.<\/p>\n<p>Traditional for the Ukrainian table herring (0.5 kg of fillet) will cost 100 UAH, hard cheese (300 g) &#8211; 66 UAH and a pack of butter (200 g) &#8211; 38 UAH. Dairy products have risen in price by 10-12% this year.<\/p>\n<p>The cost of vegetables on the New Year&#8217;s table will be, on average, 182.3 UAH. Potatoes (2 kg) will cost UAH 19.30 this year, mushrooms (1 kg) &#8211; UAH 50, sweet peppers (0.5 kg) &#8211; UAH 52.50, fresh cucumbers (0.5 kg) &#8211; UAH 22.50, fresh tomatoes (1 kg) &#8211; UAH 38.00.<\/p>\n<p>Fruit on the holiday table will cost 104 hryvnias. For 2 kg of tangerines we will pay 70 UAH, 1 kg of bananas will cost, on average, 25 UAH, lemon (200 g) &#8211; 9 UAH.<\/p>\n<p>A loaf of white bread (1 kg) will cost UAH 24.95, and chocolates &#8211; UAH 170 per 1 kg.<\/p>\n<p>A bottle of Artemivske champagne (0.75 l) will cost UAH 100. One and a half times more &#8211; 170 UAH &#8211; will have to pay for a bottle (0.5 l) of Shabo cognac aged for 5 years.<\/p>\n<p>Soft drinks will cost UAH 76.60. You will have to pay UAH 38.30 for 2 liters of Sadochok juice, UAH 11.30 for Morshynska water (1.5 liters) and UAH 27 for Zhyvchyk fresh water (2 liters).<\/p>\n<p>Families who have the opportunity to buy delicacies will have to pay an additional 470 UAH. A jar of red caviar (120 g) will cost UAH 250, and 200 g of red fish &#8211; UAH 220. As a result, the cost of a New Year&#8217;s table with delicacies will increase to UAH 2,176.09, the scientist noted.<\/p>\n<p>The cost of the budget version of the New Year&#8217;s table in Kyiv will be UAH 1916.78, which is 7.4% more than the cost of the New Year&#8217;s table in 2020. The table with delicacies will cost the residents of the capital UAH 2,426.78, Yuriy Lupenko summed up.<\/p>\n<p>The calculation of the cost of the New Year&#8217;s table in 2021 was made by the National Research Center &#8220;Institute of Agrarian Economics&#8221; based on data from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, monitoring retail prices in urban markets and supermarkets on average by region as of December 1, 2020.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; New Year&#8217;s table-2021 will cost Ukrainians 1706 hryvnias, which is 5.3% more than last year.
