KYIV.\u00a0UkraineGate , 21 , May , 2022 | Ukraine News .\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Orienteering Federation of Ukraine reports that a member of the Orienteering team Oleh Lenyuk was killed in the battles near Kharkiv on May 15.\u00a0The athlete was 23 years old.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n Details<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Lenyuk was a master of sports of Ukraine, a multiple champion of the national championship and a silver medalist of the European Rogaine Championship – a kind of orienteering. His father, also Oleg Lenyuk, was also involved in orienteering and participated in competitions among veterans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Quote<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n “According to his comrades, he was a conscientious fighter, an honest and reliable comrade. During the war he proved to be a brave and enduring warrior,” the FSOU writes about Lenyuk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In 2022, Oleg Lenyuk Jr. graduated from the Department of Mathematical Problems of Management and Cybernetics of the Yuri Fedkovych National University of Chernivtsi, where he received a master’s degree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
