A separate day is dedicated to financial bills,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In particular, as Hetmantsev explained, we are talking about customs visa-free travel, the regime of joint transit, ie our exchange and access to information on customs clearance of European countries.&nbsp;We are talking about the adoption by the Verkhovna Rada of the draft law \u21167420 On Amendments to the Customs Code of Ukraine on Certain Issues of Implementation of Chapter 5 of Section IV of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement, which will harmonize customs legislation and accede to the Convention on Common Transit Procedure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Accordingly, the measure is aimed at removing corruption from customs and carrying out a really effective reform with the customs authorities. One that would ensure the protection of business rights and the absence of any corruption offenses,&#8221; said Hetmantsev.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Context<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2021, Ukraine planned to sign five new &#8220;visa-free&#8221; visas with the European Union in the field of energy, customs, transportation, digital market and trade conditions.&nbsp;All of them are almost done.&nbsp;Following the adoption of the draft law on Ukraine&#8217;s accession to the Convention on the Common Transit Procedure (CCTP), it will become the basis for the movement of goods between 35 countries: EU member states, European Free Trade Association (EFTA), Great Britain, Turkey, Northern Macedonia and Serbia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The New Computerized Transit System (NCTS) is a system based on the Convention on a Common Transit Procedure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ukraine is reforming its customs system in line with EU norms.&nbsp;Common transit is one of the key issues of economic integration between the EU and Ukraine.&nbsp;To accede to the Convention, Ukraine must implement the application of the NCTS.&nbsp;The application of NCTS began on November 16, 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The system is being implemented in Ukraine in three stages: the Pilot Project (completed), the National Application (started on March 17, 2021 &#8211; ongoing) and the International Application (will start after Ukraine&#8217;s accession to the Convention on the Common Transit Procedure).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Source:\u00a0Ukrgate<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0The Verkhovna Rada&#8217;s agenda is very busy, and one day will be devoted to financial bills.\u00a0This was announced on a telethon by the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy, People&#8217;s Deputy Danylo Getmantsev,\u00a0 KYIV .
