33-year-old former tennis player Maria Sharapova first confirmed her romance with 40-year-old British millionaire Alexander Gilkes. On Instagram, she wrote: “I said” yes “on the first day of our meeting … It was our little secret, wasn’t it?”, And also posted relevant photos and videos.<\/p>\n
Gilkes himself on Instagram thanked Sharapova for her love: “You made me a very, very happy man.”<\/p>\n
Gilkes owns part of the shares in the Phillips auction, and has its own online auction – Paddle8. He has a long list of influential friends, including Oscar winners, millionaires and supermodels including Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell.<\/p>\n
Earlier, Gilkes almost became the son-in-law of the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton. However, even after breaking up with her sister Pippa, he maintained friendly relations with Kate and her husband, Prince William.<\/p>\n
