keef\/Urr\/22\/12\/2020 Ukrainian bobsledders Lidia Gunko and Iryna Lishchynska won a bronze medal in the doubles competition at the European Cup, which takes place in the Latvian city of Sigulda.<\/p>\n
According to the results of two attempts, Gunko and Lishchynska at a speed of over 100 km \/ h showed the result of 1 minute and 47 seconds.<\/p>\n
“Back in August this year, Lydia Gunko underwent knee surgery, and today, even in the absence of a starting overpass in Ukraine, she and Irina have shown serious potential for the future in the initial acceleration,” – said in a statement.<\/p>\n
The first two places were taken by Russian crews Elena Osipenko \/ Alexander Tarasov and Anastasia Dudkina \/ Eugene Moskvin. The Ukrainians lost to the champions by 3.01 seconds.<\/p>\n
