Britain’s forecasters have issued their first ever “red” extreme heat warning for parts of England on Monday and Tuesday, when temperatures are forecast to reach record highs, prompting a national emergency.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

July . 2022 | Political News<\/strong> .<\/p>\n\n\n\n Much of Europe is baking in a heat wave that has raised temperatures to 40 degrees Celsius in some regions, while forest fires are raging\u00a0in Portugal, Croatia\u00a0, Spain and France.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Details<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The highest temperature ever recorded in the UK was 38.7 \u00b0C and was recorded at Cambridge University Botanic Gardens on 25 July 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Met Office said it is forecasting temperatures of 40C in the UK for the first time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n “Exceptional, possibly record-breaking temperatures are likely early next week,” Met Office chief meteorologist Paul Gundersen said, predicting a 50 per cent chance of temperatures exceeding 40C and an 80 per cent chance of a new maximum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n “Nights are also likely to be exceptionally warm, especially in urban areas,” he said in a statement. “This could lead to large-scale impacts on people and infrastructure.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n Alongside this, the UK Health Safety Agency (UKHSA) has raised its heat warning to level 4 for England for Monday and Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Met Office said “significant” changes to working methods and routines would be required, and there was a high risk of heat-sensitive systems and equipment failing, which could lead to local power, water or mobile service outages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Source<\/strong>:\u00a0Ukrgate<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Britain’s forecasters have issued their first ever “red” extreme heat warning for parts of England on Monday and Tuesday, when temperatures are forecast to reach record highs, prompting a national emergency.\u00a0 kyiv.
