Ukraine. Ukraine Gate &#8211; December 30, 2020 \u2013 Economy<\/p>\n<p>In Ukraine, fines may be introduced for obstructing or failing to audit roads. The Cabinet of Ministers has submitted a corresponding bill \u21164551 to the Verkhovna Rada.<\/p>\n<p>Failure to ensure audit and \/ or inspection of road safety, if they are mandatory in accordance with the requirements of regulations, norms and rules, want to be punished with a fine of 100 non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens (1,700 hryvnia).<\/p>\n<p>If the lack of audit caused damage to vehicles, cargo, roads, streets, level crossings, road structures or other property, this will be punished with a penalty of 150 such minimums (UAH 2,550).<\/p>\n<p>Obstructing road safety audits and inspections entails a fine for citizens from two to five non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens and a warning or fine for officials in the amount of three to five such minimums.<\/p>\n<p>The law on road safety audit came into force last year.
